Hello everyone,

Recently Phil suggested I'd register here, sonhere I am.
My name is Tom Burger and I live in the Netherlands. 35 years old. In a steady relationship for 15 years and proud fatherbof our 4 year opd daughter.
I have started turning pens about two years ago, though I have been turning for about 14 years now.
Always looking to challenge myself with new techniques and materials.

Current quest for me is to learn kittles pen turning, so any help, tips, tutorial (videos) are very welcome.

I hope to learn a lot from you all,
Best regards,
Tom

Thanks everyone

This is one of my most recent pens, I also do a lot of wooden pens and I tried ebonite recently, hate the smell but I love working with it

Our third daughter 60yrs arrived yesterday for a visit from Utah for a month. Can I say I only know of one other pen maker who makes these pens like you do and I am really impressed and glad, happy you showed this great example today. Thankyou.

Hi is that one of your own blanks. If so I am really impressed. I would love to be able to acquire a blank like that to turn.

I am also dabbling with kitless pens I have had a go but I have not made anything yet that is good enough to post pictures of. The pen body and cap are OK but the nib sections are proving a challenge I'm using Bock nibs.:thinks:

Hi, thank you for the compliment. If all goes well my blanks might become available through Phil in due time.
Before that time comes I am happy to make custom orders if you like.
