Had a couple of club members over for a chat and to go over different things so I turned this while they were here. London Plain finished with sander sealer and buffed with carnauba wax. Measures 8 1/2" X 1 1.2"

Really like that, as Peter says the grain is really nice.

I had never heard of this wood until quite recently when I saw a few boards at my local sawmill, posted on here about it. Apart from a couple of pens not done anything with the board I bought yet. Not thick enough to turn anything but would make a nice Box.

Here is the next piece being prepared for another bowl the grain is even better than this one

one day I will have a go at it

[MENTION=535]Twister[/MENTION] you want to have a go there is some nice grain to be found in London Plane depending on how it is cut
