Had a good weekend for a change, i prepared a few on Saturday and turned them Sunday .. Most of the pens i made today are from wood that has been given to me over the past few months from members on the forum. This wood was sent to me by Eamonn (Silver) .. Many Thanks Eamonn ..

A Black plated Slimline carrying a blank made from London Plane, you can clearly see the lovely grain that this wood was hiding. Centre Band made with Blackwood and finished with a couple of coats from friction polish and waxed using the Renaissance Wax Polish ..

That's nice indeed, Neil L gave me a lump of this the other week, looks pretty boring as a lump of wood, but if that's what is hiding inside I think I better get on and make a pen out of it.

Lovely finish on that Jim.
