Hi guys,
As promised, two pics of the JR gentleman's pens dressed from the plank of London plane wood. The finish of this wood reminds me of the old vinyl leatheret, to those who can still remember that awful covering on your sofas!
Sealed and finished with melamine lacquer and wax 22.

The third pic is a Yew JR gentlemans pen, finished in CA glue.

Well done, Fit and finish spot with them:thumbs:

I like the London plane, but the yew is a very very close second.

Nicely photographed as well.:love_it:

Thanks guys,
Most of my pens photos have been taken by my good wife. She is a pastel painting artist, turns bowls and hand carves love spoons, just as a hobby.

These are beautiful pens Kelvin & that London Plane just shouts at you. Like Eamonn I think the yew is a very close second.
