Got 3 boards of this and going to cut some up tomorrow and turn onto a slimline and JR Gents kit,any tips or pictures of pens made from London Plane before?

Bought 3 bits of it, quarter sawn , 10'' x 12'' and about 1/2'' thick for what turned out to be roughly £1 a board

Matty, you will be surprised how nice this wood looks, pictures really don't do it justice. Look forward to seeing the pens you make with the boards ..

Will crack on with sawing them tomorrow, have been putting bits and tools in the shed for the past few week and went to see an Ebay seller about some wood today, came back with 2 boxes (the big ones that you see with fruit in) full of Yew,Spalted beech and 1 full box of Burr elm and the 3 London Plane boards which should keep me going for a while
