Growing up I had the impression that people lived and died in their 70's, 80's and a few got into their 90's.
Last week my mother celebrated her 104th birthday two weeks after her sister had her 102nd.
My mother's 2 brothers are 99 and 92.
Two of my father's sisters were 100 when they died, another sister is 99 and the young one is 93.

Do you know a family with long lived members on both sides and also why is it that it is the females who hit the ton?

Its all in he genes mate.

In our case my wife has answers that she maintains the theory you just keep moving, works for her. Quality of life is vital in old age IMHO,so far we are entirely independant living in our own home.

Cause women naturally live longer and they nag us blokes to an early death. :whistling:

Hope my missus doesn't read this or my demise could be sooner than expected.

Take a guess
Apparently single men generally died younger than married men but married men are more willing to go :funny:

My late mother-in-law was once asked if she would want to live until she was 90. She replied that she bloody well would if she was 89.

She didn't make it though.

Well all the turners on here are like one big family and I am sure most are long-lived:whistling::whistling::whistling::funny::funny::funny:
