Hi Everyone!!

I am Toni Ransfield from the United States, don't hold that against me :goesred: Yes I am the polymer clay artist that makes pen blanks and turns pens

I have been a lurker on your site for a few years, what I learned:

1. You love to use your smiley faces :whistling:
2. You have a good sense of humor
3. You are all pretty good penturners
and
4. You dislike antique'd pens immensely

Here is a few photos of my pens that I create.

Welcome Toni, nice to have you aboard. I can agree with your comments but you've missed a few out, especially where it shows that these guys are the most generous & genuine people you could wish to meet. If anyone has a problem or they need anything these guys will do thir best to see you get it. In my case I have been overwhelmed by the kindness, help & support I've had for my charity Blind Veterans UK.

I love your pens, the blanks are something special.

Hi Toni and welcome to the forum. Just so I can be part of the group here is a smiley---

I love your work. I like the idea of using Polymer clay for pens because it means I make more of the pen. I am an asthmatic: I have tried making my own acrylic blanks but that didn't end well. The blanks looked ok but breathing while making them became a problem. Nature does a good job of making us wooden blanks so I had a go at polymer clay.

Any advice you are willing to share with a beginner turner and polymer enthusiast would be used wisely and very much appreciated.
