Has anyone had a Lucida with faulty mechanism? I haven't contacted David yet but a Lucida I made on Sunday has a stuck mechanism. It's not easy to get pliers onto it for fear damaging the thread or any other part of it so wanted to check if anyone else has had a similar experience and whether you were able to fix it or not. I'll have to get in touch with David at t/b if I can't fix it without breaking it.

Pliers? They don't belong anywhere near a pen, just dismantle it the normal way with transfer punches, I am sure Walter posted a how to do it recently.

Hi, Ray,

I have to say that I've a dozen or more and have never had a problem, preferring them to the Sierra.

When I say stuck mechanism I mean it won't twist to put the pen nib out and pull it back in . At present it's not inside the tube it's as it is out of the packet.

Wait for David to reply, I am sure he will sort it out.
