Ok - amongst such esteemed company, I'll confess I might (only might mind you) be able to relate to this item too. French knitting was always a bit more street cred than Nancy as far as I remember though.:whistling:

We were all victims to the craze in the 1940,s it comes and goes thanks to preschool revival always a winner I worry about the size of the nail heads.

Nancy probably relates to Nancy in France where all things perverse reign from, the motto of the place translates to "I'm not touched with impunity", I don't know if Mr Saville ever visited Nancy, but I bet he wouldn't have stopped to talk to the Nancy boys, or maybe he would have, who knows.
