Made up some pen blanks and turned one of them

I made up some serpent pen blanks out of some beech offcuts from the same company who gave me all that corian there are 4 blue and white that will be going to John grant for horseback 4 red and white St georges pens and 3 red, white and blue blanks I just managed to turn one blue & white one to let John see the finished item the rest will have to wait for a few days as I have a guy coming tomorrow for turning lessons and another one on Sat

Nice one Woody. The RAF Light Blue, Dark Blue and Red combination might look good as well if you can get the plastic?

Hi Vic,
your pens are, as always, stunning. Do you use the medium ca for serpentine blanks as well as your others? I mean do you have time before the glue goes off. I just finished another with the drinks can method, looks quite good I think. Looked at the polypropylene, got a bit muddled on that, could not see any half mill stuff. Would thicker bend ok. Sorry to be a pain!

Hi Bill yes Med ca I am downloading a Video on to youtube of one being made I will post it when its finished

I have liked these blanks ever since Terry Q first showed them to us Woody, these look just as good my friend .. :thumbs:
