I really like unusual and fancy blanks, as much as I love wooden ones.
Basing your choice on the age of the final user is always part of the job, and since this one is for a young man, the choice, in my humble opinion, is right.
The girls in your son's class will literally fall for this pen :wink:.
I tried to focus in my mind a fountain pen used as a dart, and i almost cried laughing
