A while back I asked on the forum which would be the best pen between a Majestic fountain pen and a Roman Harvest fountain pen for a Christmas present to which I got different answers as expected. At that point I had never seen a Majestic close up.
Brian said to me that the Roman Harvest was a lot better than the Majestic and he posted a Majestic kit up to me on the proviso that a donation to the charity H 4 H was made. This the pen that he sent me and the proceeds of this sale will go to this charity if I can sell it or otherwise I will make a donation.
I agree with you Brian the Roman Harvest is better as it is a lot smaller and is less "Bling"

Well done young Terry you did done it justice and it sure looks good.
I am pleased your findings agree with mine.
The majestic is sold as a premium kit and the price does not in any way justify the title in my opinion.
Still a good looking pen by kit standards but then we are accustomed to being served crap as kits.

Lovely timber Terry, the kits a little blingy for my tastes but that doesn't detract from the great job you've made of it.

I was amazed at how large the pen is Brian. More suitable for our friends across the pond !!!!!

Lovely pen terry, didn't think I would like that kit but it doesn't look bad. The wood is fantastic though really goes well with that kit.

I like it, in fact I really, really like it.

The kit and pen blank go well together. The finish is top class and the recipient should be well and truly proud of it..
