Here is a medieval chalice made from rippled sycamore & buffed on the lathe & finished with carnauba wax.
This was made a while ago.

Very nice Bill the stem is nice and chunkie you could imagine some knight is shining armour getting his hand around that and taking a drink:wink:

I see a rippled tipple in that beautiful chalice I understand the Chalice from the Palace holds a brew that is true. Impressed out of site again.
