This was made from a piece of mesquite that had been attacked by mistletoe. The resulting scar tissue looks very much like mesquite burl.

Funny you should mention that Mulberry Sharon, today i made a number of blanks ready to turn tomorrow, one was another piece of the Mulberry you sent me .. Not as figured as the others i turned but still a nice piece of wood indeed ...
