I have noticed that it is getting harder to find drill bits for pen kits. Why do our suppliers not ask the manufactures if they can make the kits so as the tubes are metric which seem to be the easiest bits to get or are the suppliers on a good screw selling the imperial bits.

I am now going to get my coat and leave the building for a while:funny:

Cos we as a country of consumers are a boil on the bum of the world.
The majority of their sales goes to the yanks who are still using funny money init?

Well that's my guess anyway, I'll get my coat too.

Be carefull what you say Derek, there are a few in here that was brought up on imperial measurements.

It would have been easier to stay on it as well.

Heard my grandson say he kicked the ball and run at it from 10 feet away and it went right up to the 6yard line..... :funny:

But I hate to say it, Grump is right, most of the manufacturers make them for the USA market so that the size they use.

Demand dictates..

I'm from the generation that used both imperial and metric at school :goesred:
Personally I don't mind metric or imperial. I only have to buy imperial as I can get metric from work in all sorts of odd sizes

Imperial is no problem to get hold of, if you are prepared to to pay the silly prices. If you can get them at the same prices we can get metric, then start selling to us:thumbs:
