Hi guys, for those who use micromesh, how much do you pay?

The whole set costs £12.50,posted,working out at 96 pence per sheet.

Ive been using the 180,400,800,1800 then metal polish with good results although I bought the stuff primarily for metal.

Also been using all the grits on various types of steel including 12C27,440,440C,O1 and D2 with great results, alternating angles with each grit and its really easy getting a mirror polish with no buffing needed.

The MX grades,100,180,400 and 800 are meant to be metal specific and longer lasting.

I bought a Metre of each grade micro emery from eBay many moons ago before there was a Uk ebay, so how old is that.
I just cut a small square off and loop them through a cable tie in sequence hang it from my banjo camlock.
With a pure bristle paintbrush I brush it off before and after use, its always where I can find it and I have not used more than half a Metre yet.
Although these days I rarely use it at all, I am so skilled with my 1-1/2 inch flat blade I leave it smooth as a babies bum int?:mooney2:
If you beleive that you will believe anything :face:
