Military Coup in Turkey

Our grandson is still there visiting so we are quite involved in this. The bridges and rail, airport are shut down. Apparently the President went too far religeously which the State has tried to separate for so long. Martial Law with the Military in charge. I do trust it turns out for the best in the long run.

Woody Cherie received a n email so the net has been restored and his assurance all was OK for the family. They live on the Asian side in Istanbul. Apparently it is the second coup.

The grandson has another month there time for things to settle down,comforting news.

It was a failed coup those involved have been arrested.

Full details in our paper today as Peter said its over but it aint over till the chirrup living in America is silent who urged the military into this action.

Then up to the President to reign in his wifes influence in attempting to turn Turkey back into a secular state.

WE were really happy the grandson was and is there to comfort his nearly 90 yr old grandparents. They are not very mobile now.
