I’m looking into buying some of the Mirka Abranet Strips, but noticed that there seems to be 2 different styles of packaging, One a Blue box & the other a white box! Are these both exactly the same product or have I missed something?
There are several different types/grades of Abranet. The Mirka website has all the details but the two in your post just look like different packaging for standard Abranet:
It’s the white boxes I was looking at on Ebay for £12.95 a box of 50 which seems like a really good price to me! Has anyone had any experience of these?
I bought a few boxes of the cloth backed and been using ever since, like everything ideal for some timbers. I shut my eyes to the price and bought them, last working with wood show I bought a metre of 600.
A guy at my club sells abranet by the sheet I get it from 120 through 1000 from him and would never go back to paper.
and if you happen to accidently leave it in your pocket when you put your trousers through the wash it comes out lovely!
