Modern Fountain Pen

Decided to go for a more modern Fountain Pens in the future..

With the tube at over 80mm long this makes a substantial project and has a pen cap that posts on the heel of the pen with a good quality Taiwanese pre-installed nylon seal (some similar kits require self-installation)

I love it many more to be turned

I don't understand your question. All the people I have asked them to test them say they are good and better than the old fashion ones.

If you and the people you are giving/selling to like them that's cool. To me it looks like you have to hold it around the barrel just above the metal section. That looks a little too big and a touch too far from the nib tip for my, comfort. What is the actual diameter of the wood barrel? Is the nib a #5 or #6? Having a nice long barrel is good for showing off the blank.

That's good to hear. As Curly said, it has a nice long barrel to show off the blank, but there seem to be a lot of steps in the Section, which from the photos would appear to make it uncomfortable to hold from the writers perspective, which is why I asked the question. If you have feedback to the contrary though, that's great. It's a ProKraft kit I think, is it not, and I see there's a rollerball version too.

Phil. Dead right there is a Rollerball which I will be posting and its just as nice and makes a nice set. I have not had any complaints as yet about the steps being uncomfortable but they are new so its a gamble I am taking by going over to them. I don't use Fountain Pens but my wife does so I am going to give the Roller a good long test.

Hi Pete
Got the information from my supplier etc for you. The drill size is 9.5. At the nib end it is turned to 11.3 and heel end 11.1 The nib I am told is Medium believed to be 5 depending who you deal with.
I will try and send a separate picture of my wife holding the pen. No problems as yet but remember this pen as only just been released, but I am quite happy now to make this my number one Fountain pen. Only time will tell.

My wife writing with the fountain pen some write with the finger further down toward the nib. Choice is yours.
