Had a stab at a modified slimline pen, really don't know why I've not done one before:nooidea:
Anyhow, ive used some brown oak with heart and sap wood, cross cut as this is my new favourite thing to do, and a piece of amboyna for the centre band.

Ok this time it's something different init?
The center band comes of and turns into a set of braces or the cap finial is a quick release button for your collapsible helicopter.
It is init, go on init, it is init?????????????????????
Looks good nice choice of bits and stuff.
I know, it's 8 foot long, weighs a tonne and is four wheel drive with a v8 turbo under the bonnet init?

Nice one, although for me agree with Grandfather and Phill or don't put a C/B on it. same wood all the way for me or a contrasting band.. but I like what you have done..
