This is not instead of where you normally post your finishes pens, it's as well as. Let's build a library of modified slimlines.

What's a modified slimline? A pen made using the tubes and mechanism, but usually closed end and often incorporating the nib section. All your photos will define them better.

If these are the compo balls, don`t bother. I tried and could only make any progress at all by using a cobalt tipped turning tool borrowed from a friend with an engineering works.
If they are the lignum balls they cut easily but hold them in a cramp to stop the ball turning while being cut.
