Well i have wanted to try this for ages and have had this blank 18 months or more, i just needed the right reason...the customer is always right so it had to happen...This was my first attempt at Mokume and i was very pleasently surprised...i like it and it wont be my lastView attachment 31088

i also had to google it! I wont spoil the surprise for those that dont know!

Is it a heavy pen when made?

No its not a heavy pen...i thought that myself...but its turned out quite nice:whistling:

A very nice pen Mark. I've turned this before. It turned & polished well but looked more like plastic than the Damascus steel it was meant to represent so was a bit of a disappointment to me.
