I turned the Mokume this week end here are a few pic's

The blank was easy to drill, as you can see from the dust pan there is plenty left to mix into another acrylic blank. I turned it using a skew until the last millimeter and used a scraper just to bring it down to the bushings, finished through the grits from 120 to 12000 and then the two stage buffing compound that came with the blank on a soft cotton buffing wheel.

I'm very happy with the finished pen,, as I said it's a leaving present so I put some time and effort into it.
