Hi, Ed. Have you ever tried making a Slimline but substituting the centre band with one from a Euro? It's a way of getting more pen for your money, especially when the blank is too good to have most of it on the workshop floor!

Yes, you should look at pallets with avarice - if the guy ain't looking throw it in your motor and get out of there!
