Following on from the three pens I made the other week (HERE)

Here are two Sierras and two Zetas made with Horse Chestnut from RAF Digby
The second Zeta had a hidden crack in the wood. Luckily it just startedshowed as I had finished turning. So after with CA it was fine.
Sue's son has already sold 3 of them to people on base, just by the photos :shocking::thumbs:

The harvest is over and the Field prepared to share with Heroes, great satisfaction in my opinion. When limbs were removed here from a WW1 Lone Pine seedling from a Pine Cone at Anzac Cove I rang the War Memorial Trust here and our Wood Club and others made heaps of articles sold at their establishment for profit to promote our Diggers and later families.

Who could resist the purchases so made by you Chas.
