This is made from a blank I cast by accident really. It was left over resin from a pen blank pour, but I hate to waste anything. So popped it on the lathe and made a ring, and have enough for a pendant too.
Got my first craft fair next week, so going to make a few and see how they go:wink:

That looks great. I'd be interested in hearing how they go as bangles and jewellery is something I started doing and been wondering about doing some sort of fair

Cheers Ray. Im going to make some jigs for bangles, pendants etc to reduce the amount of resin used, if they do well that is.:idontknow:

Cheers boss, it came from the same pour as the one I did the other day. The ring came from a blank cast in a yoghurt pot, held in a chuck, drilled and contoured whilst still part of the solid blank, then parted off with a homemade partingtool ( hacksaw blade ) then turned a tennon on a bit of waste wood to turn the other side. All finished to 600 in the normal way, and buffed on a wheel with compound for the final shine:ciggrin::thumbs:

That's a lovely blank and it makes a cracking ring, I think at the right venue they will sell well, I look forward to seeing the pendant:thumbs:
