I have just phoned Snainton about MOP blanks and they don't do them, they have white acrylic. Where do you get your MOP blanks from?

Thanks Woody, It's so hard to tell from the photos on the websites. The one I saw at Twister's was superb. I might have to take a drive out to Axminsters so I can see them in the flesh.

That probably uses real pieces of MOP. The one I have seen is a resin rendition of MOP.

The one I saw that Twister had used was stunning and I would like to know where he got it, it wasn't the crushed velvet type, I have seen those. I have just bought various powders to have a go at mixing my own, but I don't know how successful it will be.

If only you had asked at the time. It's still worth putiing an order in for 3 blanks the postage is only 5AUD. you would pay twice that in the UK.
