I am looking for a music player.
When I am in the shed I have music playing all the time. A fringe benefit is that it drowns out the all the indigenous culture.
When I had an android phone I downloaded all my music on it. 1000's of songs which was good, I was able to drive to Adelaide and back without listening to the same song twice.
When I transitioned to an iPhone I tried to download all my music onto it, it would only let me download 1200 songs and it it arranged it in an alphabetical order

I use spotify at home, which is OK but they are a bit limited with the selection.
Looking on the hinternet I came across these,

JRiver Media Center
They want $79.98, dont know how long for?
Then if you $59.98 want to use another system, soo their will be 3 operating system in this house.:vangry:

Gracenote Global Music Data

Which I cant find any thing about.:vangry:

Plex

Supposed to be free.

Groove Music

Which windoze installed on my computer, then deleted all the cover picture that was on the song and replaced it with there stupid emblem.:vangry::vangry:

Is there any thing better that you use, a free app would be the best.

I go in the Shed to get away from all that the only sound I want to hear in the Shed is me talking to my self or the sound of the Lathe running.

No music in my shed, need all the concentration I can muster. There are mundane tasks such as drilling and glueing but I do the glueing in the house especially in our long cold this year.

There is an app called MusicStreamer, I point it at my NAS it finds all the music and I can stream it as I wish, you can also create playlists, and then have it download the playlist locally for offline playback if you wish - it may just be for iOS but use it on phones and iPad, either free or cheap.

Same here, but mostly for movies, prefer the sound of the lathe running or me cursing (or I will do once the lathe gets repaired).

Am I strange but I like to get sound feedback from what I am turning?

The wood lathe, metal lathe and milling machine all drown out the sound from my radio when used. I can only here the music etc when they’re stopped. :winking:
