I've seen this idea before for a piano keyboard, which are sold in USA. So I've designed & laser cut my own version. This one is made from beech & I've stained the wood black after turning, before spraying with gloss clear acrylic. The 2nd set of photo's are of a Sierra, I've made the body of the pen from Black acrylic, laser cut the keys. Then inserted and epoxied a beech laser cut keyboard, prior to final turning.

Hi, thank you & I use a Creality 22w diode laser. Also used Lightburn to draw the piano keys. I’m now working on a guitar version too.👍🏼😎
Hi Gary
Mine is also a Creality Falcon2 - 22w so presumably the same model. I assume you have a rotary attachment fo the pens which I don't have? I use Lightburn also though the laser doesn't get much use since I bought a 3D printer to play wirth

Yes, same model and the rotary attachment is a must. It’s okay for engraving a name along the pen, but if you want to engrave around the pen, rotary is the way to go.

This is one of the original US ones that I made a while ago for a friend. I think you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between this and yours. Very well done 👍
