A Geoff component set done in Brazilian Cherry.
This pen is a whopper compared to a Cigar component set.

Les,

Have you posted these on the IAP forum? Most of us are viewers or contributors over there as well. Got to say that jatoba is not a wood that inspires me that much, and I'm afraid it doesn't do much for the pen, but then the only thing that would do much for that design would be a good bonfire. Sorry Les but it's horrible!

There is nothing wrong with the turning or finish of the pen, and i can understand why someone would want such an unusual pen, but i doubt that i would make this pen. I went off the Cigar kit as i felt it was on the large side and it wasn't a good seller for me .. :thumbs:

Yep, I thought it was a unusual pen, but surprisingly I did sell 6 of these.

Les

Hmmm, Unusual - Eamonn, your title as master of understatement is under threat. Looks like a medical implement or the plug from the Titanic. Has about as much elegance as George Bush's vocabulary. I sold some Polaris Pens once so I know how you must have felt, the shame, embarrassment, humiliation. I guess you got over it too!

Wow poison pen get that kit,tote that barge. I see a future because it is a utility pen that will garner sales everywhere albeit a niche market IMHO a worthy pen not easily lost or damaged. In my hospital visits I make for the Vietnam Federation as a visitor to vets and their families so many people who would benefit from such a pen easy to see, hold and using a quality long lasting refill.How refreshing to see disseminated pens also a quick how to to answer the continual how did you do it etc.

Thanks Les for the variety as for apologising for the:camera: your pics are explicit and clear IMHO.

Kind regards Peter.:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Without getting it up on screen, it's something like the Oversized Pen Kit, I will have a look tomorrow and if it's not that I will let you know, but I am 99% sure.

When I said they were so popular they were out of stock I may have been paraphrasing "the kit is shite and we managed to sell them all so no more"

We tend to use milk anyway..:face:

Nobody, dont do cornflakes. Just the coffee and toast. Take no offence, your workmanship is great, its just the stage props from the Guns of Navarone I cant get to grips with!

Speak for yourself, good staple diet is cornflakes, with milk of course..:face:

Don't be concerned Les, I think some is lost in the British sense of humour and wit.

I agree that your workmanship is great but it's not my bag either, having said that I did a panache pen once and I nearly used that for an axial stand for a large truck, (big rig)

:funny::funny:

I know, I wanted to see if there was just one left in some plating so that I could actually make one as I have a piece of 2 x 2 x 12 Iroko that I have nothing better to do with.
