My 2nd Omega : A white dress for a chrome lady.

After turning my 1st omega I was very troubled in wich dress to give to the 2nd one.
I had this blank laying arround, but it was too small, 16x16 is really small for such large tubes..... As if!!!
I drilled the cap blank in surgical manner using the lowest speed possible, and cooling it with cutting oil.
I painted the tubes with light gray paint and painted the inside of the blanks in white pearl acrylic paint.

Next time will get some larger blanks, because this one was really risky :winking:.

I like the result and, I must admit that the chrome kit is the best of all the finish offered.
Next sunday i will turn the rest of the batch.

It's a beauty, you only have to believe there is enough room to drill, better than wasting all the extra.
