The main bearing system for the top wheel I fitted new ones when I first set it up were 5 inch heavy duty. I scrapped it finally no one wanted to pay money for it all wanted me to transport and instal it figured it owed me nothing. A mate helped me with a hoist on his truck put it on my trailer for me and lent me a huge strap long and strong anyway when I got to my place I started to back in the last 6 feet of the heavy adjustable thing caught under the trailer wheel and snapped off. On my own and to my wifes horror I slid it off the trailer placed water pipe rollers under that beast took it twenty feet into and installed it over a couple of weeks modifying all the time. That day bought a new strap thing cost 240.00 dollars my mate said you need not have bothered Peter I never used that last length anyway.Still I have this theory I rarely borrow and always return things as good as or better If I do borrow. One time from this same mate I bought a Woodfast real big and heavy monster from him he gave me a price I undercut it he went up nthe same amount I stopped immediately and bought it I later gave it to my son in law years later.

Yes it was a monster when it shed a blade it was quite an experience that prompted me to go for hardened face blades, the blade makers joins were creative at the time.
