When these first came out i said to myself "Not For Me" but on our last trip to T/R the War Office saw the finished sample pen and told me to buy some .. Well i did but from T/B's .. And the more i see the finished article well turned and finished like this one the more the kit grows on me ... :bwink:

Now i need to place another order to get some bushings for the kit ... :whistling:

Nicely done Rowdy, i am surprised how well this blank looks as i had a darkish colour in mind for the kit ..

Be sure and check those bolt action pens real well after you finish them. I recently finished the first six of the dozen I had bought from TB. One had a frozen bolt that I had to free up. while unwrapping the bundle at a show I discovered the bullet shell had come loose from the fitting that presses into the upper bolt section. I checked the other five and another one pulled apart fairly easy. I hope it was just a fluke, but I'll know when I turn the other six. I have made about 40 from Penn State Ind. bolt action pens and never had that happen. I figure they must have different suppliers or that's why they are 50% cheaper then the PSI kits. Out with the super glue I guess.
