Something wrong here, have you got the bushes that have four separate parts or the bushes that have two ends and a combined middle? Each of the four bushes is a different size, the largest one goes on the bottom of the cap, the next largest on the top of the lower barrel, the 3rd larget is the cap and the smallest is the nib bush. You shouldnt need to change them around at all during turning.
