My first commission from a friend's wife, I first met them on holiday in October. His wife wants it as a Christmas present for him.

The complete set will consist of this pen (JR Gent RollerBall and a matching keyring from same blank, that's waiting for finishing tomorrow.
I am quite pleased as the spalting really shows up well, it was a bit of trial turning it - thankfully CA came to the rescue.

Blank - Spalted Apple
Penkit - JR Gent Chrome Rollerball.
Finish - CA, Micromesh, TCut and Mer Wax.

Thoughts.

Game match and set Rowdy just like the Australian Cricket team bowled them over. I do like it when a plan comes together as this part has. Great pen mate.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:

Very nice piece of timber. Nicely finished too. I am sure this may bring more commission work. Well done and thanks for showing.

That is brilliant spalting and you have done it real justice with a great finish.
