That looks like the Traditional or one diameter pen kit no longer sold from what I hear.
Nice job you made of it.

thats lovely Don, a very nice shape and finish, and I like the kit too. The wood almost looks black on the photo.

You cant get them today because to many so called professionals said they were no good so turners stopped buying them there are a few golden oldies that have gone by the same way you hardly ever see the old flat top pens nor the round top, the regency now there was a good kit you had to make 5 separate components for them and many more good kits bad publicity by the so called experts

I still have a few of these kits left.
I dunno why I have been saving them for a special occasion, full of crap ain't I?
I think only two or three left and am hanging on to em.
As woody says they were such a bad seller that stockist wouldn't get more when they eventually sold out.
You may if lucky shop around to find someone who still has some old stock.
They are still made but nobody wants to chance being stuck with them.

Thanks for the comments chaps, they are much appreciated.
This is not my first pen as I have made many Slimlines, but it is my first Fountain I have completed.
I originally posted on UKAP when I started it and got some good advice from Walter etc. at the time, the pen is now finished and I am very pleased with the result.

take care
Don W
