I understand this kit is not to the British liking but here is my first pen since having bowel surgery in November and in my new workshop.

I like that. I think that kit has got potential with a custom blank on it.

Its not a pen I would want to use myself, but I can certainly see that it would appeal to some and I think you have made a smashing job of it. The blank certainly matches well with the 'gothic' style. Allen

Some Turners have bowl not bowel surgery had some myself this week the term passing razor blades came to my mind. Real happy to hear of the three events coming to this conclusion with your exciting pen, your choice of blank has given overall a medieval just showed it to SWIO who loves the clip and the blank very much. As do I Johnny expecting to see a Knights Templars sword alongside. Nice to kick traditions around I had a vision also of the trend to Steampunk. The smooth as marble effect of that superb blank grabs attention straight away lifting it away from the norm completing your great pen.

I bet you're happy to be turning again, excellent news.

I absolutely hate the kit but like the blank. As long as your customers like it nothing else matters.
