My First Spring Blossom Kit

Had a little tidy-up in the shed (garage) and found some more blanks - this one had 'Woody Spaltted Holly' written on it.
Looked all cracked but had a nice interesting bit of spalting on it.
Been thinking about turning up a Spring Blossom Kit from Timberbits but have never had a nice enough blank until now.
Finished with my Standard CA, T-Cut and Merl Wax Polish.

Really nice pen there Rowdy, top speck as we would expect for you..

But I can't see the "woodys spalted holly" written in it anywhere.. :devil:

Lovely piece of wood and the finish is simply superb Rowdy making a lovely pen. :thumbs:
