My New Toy

Picked this up today. It might be an old un but it ain't half well made. It's an Atlas 10f.

It's still in the back of my motor at the minute need to get some strength around to get it up the shed. I don't think our Aud can even manage this

Ive been looking for one for a while now Dereck and this one came up on eBay only 25 miles from where I live.
The Two Pratt and Burnerd chucks and 4 face plates along with a load of cutting tools and full set of thread cutting gears that were included were worth as much as I paid for the complete set up.

If you are prepared to wait it out the right thing will always turn up

Never been that patient mate,spent most of my life doing it in the now and present. regrets I have a few been richly rewarded. A cousin died in the last few days over a thousand miles away who was only a couple of weeks older than me. We are unable to attend, makes mortality stand out.

Today I will go about our heavy shopping then go all over the Hercus and lube it ready for the better weather ahead,be thinking of you enjoying this to you new lathe that uses several Pratt and Burnerd chucks that I regard as well to have quality plus.
