Steve,

I made six of these once. I hate the kit with a passion, not only is it plastic but cheap plastic. You say your next one will be better, but I cant see much that could be improved.

I had a blow out on the top .Had to ca and saw dust the top a good bit near the clip end.

I have 4 more of these i have to use up .

Well, I have to be honest, i have never had the pleasure of playing with this kit, but i don't see anything wrong with it going by this picture, to say i wouldn't play with it if i ever come across it .. :bwink: Steve i turned some Purple Heart blanks on Sunday for a Rollerball and Letter Opener for a guy's Father's birthday, it can in some instances look good on a pen, just like this one does my friend .. :winking:

Have to admit the kit doesn't appeal to me, but you look to have made a very good job of turning into a pen :thumbs::thumbs:

Steve, it seems from the photo that the upper barrel is proud of the clip end and shy of the centre band end? Bit odd, but you mentioned you had problems with that barrel.
