My swap mate just advised me the parcel arrived, unpacked and he is happy. It took me a morning to pack and post so I am glad it arrived Ok may not continue pen swaps the freight was just shy of fifty bucks. The parcel took a day less than two weeks

The Pen rest is an outside slice of Brown Mallee the Pewter animal represents our indigenous Platypus an animal getting rarer with higher populations of us that has a duck bill the tail of a beaver and a beautiful pelt of fur it lays eggs suckles its young builds a system of burrows from under water to above water
is a mammal and an inigma.

The coin for Joes birth year. The pen from a 2000 yr old Huon Pine tree from the rain forests of Tasmania, i missed taking picks of the several special Aussie timber pen blanks.

When I packed I used dense foam plastic an aluminium sheet around the pen rest an aluminium tin for the pen and half a mile of gaffer taper almost in defiance of customs etc but I have had past experiences with postal departments here and abroad.

The theme of the swap was entertainment so I based mine on the Song I still Call Australia Home down to the Australia clip.
