I did post some time back I was adding an extension to my shed. Time and lack of funds mean its still a work in progress, like most of my jobs, but now its in a usable state.

If it's usable where's the bloody heaps of shavings and sawdust :thinks: very nice though mate!

Ah! if you look closely at Pic 2 you will see the lathe motor casing open and the belt hanging down, there is a small amount of shavin's on the lathe, but your right it's quite tidy for me.

Take a guess
Looks like a well organised set up you've got there John, I prefer cupboards for storage as opposed to open shelves etc saves everything getting covered in dust & shavings.
As for taking a while to get sorted & still being a work in progress I don't think you ever really finish a workshop, even after getting on for 10 years mine is still evolving but then that's part of the fun of having a shop.

Got to admit though your seamstress abilities look to be lacking in the curtain department :bwink:

it is nice to have the extra space which u seem to have and very well laid out
I am drawing plans for an extra workshop \ lean to at the moment
it wont be huge but will help with spreading stuff about
I have been allocated 7m x 2.5m to fit it in garden
