Ten years ago I required a new oil pump and this Chairmans fountain pen in cocobolo is to mark my tenth anniversary.
I finished it with blo and ca and wax polished. I kept the finish dull as some of my meds would soon take of the shine.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures even though the camera was fixed to a tripod it still claimed to be shaky.

I do like the feel of this pen and it writes well too, still getting use to the weight and size after using shop bought ones.
Next time I use CA I must remember to keep the door open, damn near did myself a mischief and that would not have gone down well by the better half or my consultant

Another masterful turning effort great pen. My pump is intermittent out of sync and leaking I know the feeling got a stent in the last yr or so hang in there mate. When it gets to me I go curl up for a nap and off again this yr will be 80. The best thing for me was to get off Warfrin and on to Pradaxa on capsule morning and evening no more INR tests and eat anything at all.

Sorry to digress you must be in a patch of Cocobolo I find it hard to photograph to show the detail.

Thanks for your quality.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:

Smokey a tip using an unsteady tripod is to use a plastic bag of sand in a cotton bag and hang it in the top middle of the tripod it can make a total difference.

Kind regards Peter.
