Myford drill chuck on mt2 taper

Anyone looking for a drill chuck for their tail stock should check out Myford Ltd Home Page (British Engineering at its best) just recieved mine through the post for £23 with free postage, i searched loads of places axminster etc but myford is the cheapest i found and they are second to none for quality, right of to do some drilling on my lathe

That's odd Myford are usually much more expensive than RDG which is the same company really.

But not in this case.

When I first got my ML7 I went over to Myford to buy some bits. They guy said "Don't buy them from me, I'm too expensive. Go over the road to RDG. They'll be cheaper there."


They do a cheaper keyed one at RDG though.

I have seen his prices dropping quite a bit lately as always keeping an eye on things, never know when I need a new tool to play on my ML7 with..

Think the fact that Myford needs to sell goods to stay afloat and can't just say "go over there as they are cheaper"

He will soon realise that he doesn't corner the market and needs to sell them at reasonable prices or go bust..

Purchase power is great but staying afloat cost us many a retailer over here. I try to grit my teeth in order to stay afloat myself ,what used to be enough is chipped out by gougers.
