A recent commission for a friend - a name plaque with an elk image. Made from some old yew brought down in the '87 gales which has been hiding in the shed for quite a while. Multiple layers of yacht varnish to finish as this plaque has gone to foreign lands and will need to survive Scandinavian winters.

this recent pen was made from an offcut I managed to save when making the plaque
