I had a bit of the pink ivory/walnut segmented blank left over from this mostly kitless pen, so I figured I would make up a letter opener to match. I should have made it closed-end to match the pen - that finial jars. Also I pressed the blade end brass fitiing in without lining up the pink ivory segment at right angles ... ah well. Maybe a giveraway item for the FB page?

Been there, done that, but it doesn't take away the fact that they look good together ... :bwink:

If you hadn't had told us i doubt very much we would have seen it Dave. They are a lovely pair thou and would go nice together even with the said mistake. :bwink:
