New Blanks Today

Phone call from my mate he is going out of Pen Making so I went around to his and bought some blanks pics attached attached some of my favourites and many new to me.

He has too much on his plate with his big laser he sent me some pics of the things he is making on the laser, out of the box in every way. I will get help from family to show a few on the forum.

He has hundreds more and burl caps, mallee Burl blanks etc it took restraint but I picked up heaps of other stuff. Sad to see such a good penmaker bow out.

I know the feeling. A friend of mine is quitting the pen/pen blank business and he has about 6000 blanks for sale. I spent too much but may spend more.

Went back yesterday and bought a large bucketfull after talking with Mark on Skype. Good news for me in a while Mark will be over my way and is trying to travel further and visit us.
