During the clean up I found a Triton by pass filter top tucked away and then the tub, bought a cyclone on the net located couple hrs drive away.

The cyclone had four small holes to take self tappers my favourite aversion so I drilled and tapped the four hold down parts. The lid has quite a curve on it and a centre hole si put a wooden bung to support a largish hole saw then using a rise and fall stem sander made the hole to receive the cyclone. Went to my favourite seller of bearings obtained a suitable large O ring.

Screwed the cyclone to the lid pulled it down with flat washers and spring washers and using a Selleys glue that sticks to all plastics and nylon underneath. Searching the pack for the glue now realise Sellys products come under Dulux Paints.

Quick pic on the spare bed. Will finish it during the week.

Peter.
