This is a bit of a other things we make and a very nice man post.

Anyway as you all know Dave (Daveygee) help me to get up and running again while my poor departed computer is getting fixed, anyway while I was there we spent quite a bit of time talking as you do about woodturning and Dave gave me a grinder which I am truely grateful. Like many on here he need to go to the very nice man group along with many others on here. So a big thank you to Dave:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:.

Now onto the set up that I have been doing not anything special but it makes the grinder functional for sharpening turning tools as Steve(Twister) knows I use this system for all my sharpening need even on the old grinder. I could not use the old base as I had only cut one slot on the right and the base was also to narrow to take the adjustable table.

This took all day as we had the Great grandson here this morning.

I like that, it's highly functional and it's much smaller than most other jigs I've seen. Mind if I pinch it, I mean, use it for inspiration?

Many of my chisels for pens have the handles cut in half for convenience and cause theres no need to hog out a pen your new set up should take care of long and short chisels looks the part mate great having one wide stone as well.
