For our European Readers, New Guinea Rosewood is Pterocarpus Indicus, also known as Amboyna, or Narra. It is called Amboyna in the burr form, otherwise it is known by its more common name, Padauk (Pronounced P - dook). It is not a true Rosewood (those are members of the Dalbergia family)
